AWARD DEFINITION:
The Ad Miller Award is presented to an individual (Member or Non-Member) that has significantly contributed to enhancing and preserving private property rights, is involved in the enactment of legislation that positively affects the REALTOR® business, and is committed to high standards in the political process, as exemplified by inspired leadership and service to the REALTOR® organization.
Nominations should be based on the following criteria: Political Involvement (working for a candidate, political office holder, service on city or county advisory boards), Participation in Clubs or Organization which promote the above activities, Political Affairs (legislative committee member on the local/state/national level) and Emphasis on Longevity (continuance of service and dedication to NABOR)who has exhibited excellence in advocacy at the local board/association, state association, national association and community within the governmental/political arena over their lifetime. (This is NOT based on monetary donations.)
CRITERIA:
The choice of the recipient for this distinguished award should be based upon an individual’s contribution toward enhancing and preserving private property rights, ownership and transferability, and the display of concern for others for the preservation of the free enterprise system, is involved in the enactment of legislation that positively affects the REALTOR® ’s business, and is committed to high standards in the political process.
